To all my friends…
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Allman Brothers Band founding member Dickie Betts.
It was Dickies idea that I developed to create the painting I did for the bands’ album cover. Where It All Begins was also the last album that Dickie was involved in and the subsequent tour.
He was a great guy and an amazing player and he always treated me like a friend. R.I.P.Forrest Richard ( Dickie) Betts, thank you for the great music. Ioannis
